How would you describe your coaching style in a few words?
I try to find the balance between the fun and getting the job done. I want to make people feel comfortable enough to try new things and trusting of me to get them closer to their goals by adopting sustainable habits making them become stronger not only in the gym but outside too.

What is your training philosophy or core belief when it comes to fitness?
My training philosophy has been instilled into me prior to being a personal trainer, having been a dancer since very young age, I learnt an incredible appreciation for movement and the capabilities a body has. I also come from a family deeply rooted in the fitness industry, with my parents owning their own gym in the 90s, in this environment I fostered the genuine care and passion for peoples personal journey’s in health. I believe that people underestimate their abilities and participating in fitness whatever way that may be is a catalyst to a long and fulfilling life!

What kind of training do you personally enjoy?
I am someone who wants to do a bit of everything! I love to lift heavy, utilize my own body weight, being upside down and even running! I am always up for a challenge.

Do you have a favourite movement, exercise, or training method?
I will forever be caught between deadlifts and swinging on the bar doing chin ups and muscle ups!

Have you participated in any events, competitions, or personal fitness achievements?
I have participated and placed 1st in my first Novice Powerlifting Competition, and also participated in Hyrox events within Australia in Doubles Teams.

What do you love most about coaching at One Life Fitness?
One Life has a very special place in my heart. I have been a member myself for 3 years and not only has my personal achievements sky rocketed since being apart of this community but I have learnt and applied an incredible amount to on my own coaching, aligning to their core values and beliefs! I feel so grateful to be able to now coach within this one of a kind environment.

If you could train with any athlete (past or present), who would it be and why?
I would choose to train with my Dad, who would be an absolute powerhouse. He was obsessed with fitness of all kinds, being a group fitness instructor himself, as well as working for Gym Care in sales and serving of gym equipment. An athlete in his own right participating in many sports, WAFL, playing for the Perth Demons, Aerobic Competitions, Speed Skating and Local Cycling and Fun Runs. With him passing when I was younger I naturally feel close to him during exercise and now being in the industry myself his morals and beliefs live on in me!

What’s a fun fact about you that people wouldn’t expect?
I danced in the Disneyland Parade in Anaheim, California to the song “Walking on Sunshine”
