A personal bit from manu

MY STORY

My fitness journey started at the age of about 18. My number one goal. GET MORE GIRLS. I was tired of being the the skinny guy that no girl noticed. So I headed to the gym. My first gym session was interesting. I manged to get stuck under a machine that a ‘buff’ guy had to come and help me out of… with one hand. Although that destroyed my self esteem and nearly had me quit, i continued on. A few months went by and I started to make some decent progress in the gym. I had been downloading free and paid gym programs and diets and trying them all out. After about a year I manged to start gaining the attention of all the girls, which I have to admit, propped up my confidence a bit.

Moving forward I soon realised that my physique was not what was attracting all these women, it was my confidence. I held myself better, I wasn’t afraid of denial, I was just a confident dude.

I continued down the fitness route to then find a love for bodybuilding & power lifting. I’ I became the gym rat, the guy that was always around. People started to ask me questions about how to do things, what to eat, how often to train and so on. Truth is, I had no idea.. but that sparked something. In between my gym sessions I’d go home and read articles online, watch influences on YouTube and implement the new things I had learnt. I couldn’t get enough. I started sharing my experiences with others including the injuries I faced by learning the hard way.. trust me there were lots.

I started to spend my time helping others in the gym and fell in love with watching people move forward. So that was it. I packed my bags, flew to Perth and started studying my course.

Since then I’ve followed my heart to start my open my own business to help others, competed in bodybuilding competitions & continued to chase the never ending trophy of all knowledge.

In the past 10 years I have been in the fitness environment, I have certainly had differing opinions to what I have now. Over time I have constantly endeavoured to provide the most suitable approach to each individual I train. My client list has been anywhere from teenagers to the elderly, bodybuilders to fitness models, athletics to fighting mum tums. I truly believe that ability of both knowledge and empathy helps me provide a great service.

As it currently stands, My dream is to become a travelling online personal trainer that is able to run seminars & workshops around the globe. Until then I will continue to provide the most value I can with all the services i offer.
